The Restaurant

The BarnYard’s licensed Restaurant (The Rooster and the Roost) is situated across two areas within a stunning, recently refurbished, fairy-lit, oak beamed barn – with steps leading down to our beautiful patio where, in the warmer months, guests can dine alfresco listening to the sound of peace and quiet! We have also opened our elevated decking area for diners during the summer months where you can enjoy spectacular views over the surrounding orchards.
We are open from Wednesday to Sunday 9am to 4pm serving freshly cooked breakfasts, lunches, light snacks and (not forgetting) our very special high teas. 
We also now have full wifi capability available for your use whether it be for business or social.
We also offer four beautifully decorated private areas – The Mezzanine, The Hyde Out, The Apple Barn and The Roost – available to book for special occasions during the day for private parties, baby showers, birthday celebrations etc for varying numbers depending on location.  We offer two great menu options for these areas – our Special High Tea or our Sumptuous Grazing Platter.
We celebrate local and seasonal produce and our chefs are proud to source the very best in Kentish ingredients wherever possible, a theme that runs throughout our menus. We are even prouder of the fact that we have produced on site many of the ingredients that we use in our cooking from daily freshly laid eggs from our BarnYard chickens to our own BarnYard apples or pears gathered directly from the surrounding award winning orchards.
