Booking Terms and Conditions

conditions for each booking type.

By confirming your booking with us, you have agreed to the following terms and conditions –

High Tea Bookings

When booking for our High Tea experience, you will be required to pay a £10 deposit per person, which will be used towards your bill on the day of your visit. Cancellation terms can be found in the ‘Cancellation’ Section of the T’s & C’s

Cancellation

We will require your card details to guarantee your reservation. These will be held securely in our PCI-compliant Payment Gateway Should you unfortunately need to cancel your booking please do so at the earliest possible opportunity and make a note of the cancellation reference number given. Reservations must be cancelled within the following timeframes otherwise the adjacent charges will be applied:

High Tea – Full Charged based on our current menu price, per person, for cancellations made after 24 hours prior. For cancellations between 24 and 48 hours prior, the £10 initial deposit per person will be retained.

Breakfast & Lunch – £20 charged per person, for cancellations made after 48 hours prior

Seasonal Events such as Christmas Eve Breakfast, Fathers/Mother’s Day, Easter Sunday Lunch etc. (Excluding Christmas Party Nights) – £25 charge per person (or the per person cost of the set menu/ticket price), for cancellations made after 7 days prior

Group Bookings (Above 9 Covers) – Refer to ‘Group Booking Section’

Christmas Party Nights – Refer to ‘Christmas Party Night Section’

Take Aways

Our food offerings have always been considered as plentiful and we are happy for you to take away any leftovers to enjoy at another time. Although we are very happy to offer this service, should anyone in your party wish to remove items from the BarnYard, we strongly recommend these food items are consumed within 2-hours of serving. 

The BarnYard cannot accept any responsibility for food being removed from the premises or any illnesses that may occur due to the consumption of the food being removed/consumed after the recommended 2-hour timeframe.

Using Vouchers

When redeeming a voucher for your experience, we require the physical voucher to be provided on the day of the experience. When using an e-voucher, our team may be able to assist with printing this on your behalf. If a valid voucher is not presented at the time of booking, we will require you to settle the balance of the experience, and any applicable extra charges, before departing. A refund will then be issued upon receipt of the valid voucher. Please refer to your voucher for specific details of inclusions, expire date and validity.

Group Bookings

Tables of 10 people or more require a £5 deposit per person, payable at the time of booking. Group bookings are also required to submit a pre-order and full payment no later than 2 weeks prior. Cancellations made after 2 weeks prior are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

When hiring a private area, a room hire fee will be applied to your booking, based on the current brochure price shown at the time of booking.

The BarnYard will attempt, to the best of its ability, to ensure any pre-ordered drinks and food are supplied as intended. Where this may not be possible for reasons outside of our reasonable control, we will provide a suitable ‘like-for-like’ alternative or, at our discretion, issue a partial refund to account for the part or product missing/replaced.

Service Charge

At the BarnYard, we pride ourselves on good old-fashioned service. With this in mind, for tables in our Restaurant or Private Event Spaces, a discretionary 12.5% service charge will be automatically added to your bill.

Dietary Requirements and Allergy Handling

At the time of booking, we require you to inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies of the individuals attending the experience, although amendments and comments may be possible after the booking has been made. If we are not informed of dietary requirements in a timely manner, this can cause delays. Our Kitchen handles foods that may contain allergens from all 14 main allergen groups and, although our team will strive to cater for any dietary requirements, we cannot guarantee any foods will be free of allergens entirely. Should you need more information or have any concerns, please contact our team at least 48-hours prior to arrival.

Christmas Party Night Bookings

All Christmas Party Night Bookings will require a non-refundable and non-transferrable £20 deposit per person at the time of booking.

Remaining payments and pre-orders will be requested, via email, and are due no later than 6 weeks prior to the date of the event. Cancellations made after 6 weeks prior will be fully charged

The BarnYard will attempt, to the best of its ability, to ensure any pre-ordered drinks and food are supplied as intended. Where this may not be possible for reasons outside of our reasonable control, we will provide a suitable ‘like-for-like’ alternative or, at our discretion, issue a partial refund to account for the part or product missing/replaced.
