If getting married in The Arboretum, the dressing room suite is exclusively yours from 9.15am on your wedding day (mid afternoon, 3pm in the case of a Twilight wedding) and is the ideal place for you and your immediate wedding party to apply all those final touches as the anticipation and excitement builds. The dressing room is available for an additional fee.
You’ll have access to your private Dressing Room right up until the moment you are ready to say ‘I Do!!’.
If you’ve booked a professional make-up artist and hair stylist they are very welcome to arrive from 9.15am too. Depending on your ceremony time, (ie if you are having a later Twilight ceremony) they may suggest starting much earlier at your residence and then accompany you to The BarnYard to add the finishing touches having done most of the prep earlier that morning.
No access will be allowed either after the ceremony commences or in the evening.

Nicholas Albert
Born on the beautiful caribbean island of St Lucia, Nicholas Albert has always shared a talent for singing.
His early influences were the local reggae sounds along with classic motown, soul, r&b, rock and house music – in fact all types of music challenged his ears and provoked a musical response from him.
He says “If i couldn’t make music, i can’t imagine any other job that i would find so much joy in!”

For weddings in The Arboretum, set up and decoration is allowed from 9am on the day of the wedding.
For weddings using The Apple Barn (Twilight weddings), set up and decoration is allowed from 3pm on the day of the wedding.
You shall not, unless otherwise agreed, be permitted to leave any items at The BarnYard overnight following your wedding. However, if we agree that items can be left overnight, i.e. any items of a personal nature, any decoration items, wedding cards and presents – these are left on site at your own risk and we shall not accept any liability for their safe keeping. All items left overnight MUST be collected by 10am the following morning.
Guests are allowed to leave their cars in our car park overnight however this would be done at their own risk. Your guests would need to be made aware that the car park will be closed and locked after the last guest leaves at the end of the night and wont be reopened until around 8.30am the following morning – apart from weddings on a Sunday where the car park won’t be reopened until Tuesday morning as the venue is closed on a Monday.
Payment towards your wedding will be required in three stages:
Upon reserving a date and accepting the Terms and Conditions of Booking, an initial reservation fee of £1,250 will be required.
Eight months before your wedding date, a second reservation fee will be required. For full day weddings this will be £2,750 and in the case of Twilight weddings this will be the remainder of the venue hire
After a final wedding meeting with yourselves (which we hold 6-10 weeks before your wedding day) we will calculate the final remaining balance which will need to be paid no later than 7 days after this meeting.
With the final balance we will also ask you for a damage deposit of £500 which we hold until after your wedding when it will be refunded, assuming no damage has been done.
